MNvest is an innovative way to find new investors for Minnesota small businesses.  This program allows qualified businesses to solicit investments from both accredited as well as non-accredited investors.  The following presentation, which outlines some of the program details, was prepared by Deborah and David Torgersen of Torg Brewery.  Going through the process has helped them understand the benefits and challenges of the program.  Torg Brewery is the second business in Minnesota to qualify to make presentations to potential investors under the requirements of MNvest, which operates under the oversight of the Minnesota Department of Commerce.
