From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. every Tuesday, [Except July 24 because no lawyer is available] in partnership with the St. Paul SCORE chapter, at the Associated Bank Building at 202 N. Snelling. (This at the intersection of Snelling & Dayton, a few blocks south of I-94 and one block north of Selby). There are no appointments; sign up at the site for a 30-minute session. (Intellectual property questions? An expert on patents, copyrights and trademarks normally is available on the 1st Tuesday of each month.)
Parking is available on the east side of the bank’s parking lot, east of the building (off Dayton) and along the east side of Snelling Avenue in front of the bank (one hour limit).
What is LegalCORPS?
LegalCORPS provides free assistance in non-litigation business law matters to low-income owners of small businesses, small nonprofit organizations and low-income innovators in Minnesota — through the services of volunteer attorneys.
LegalCORPS itself is a nonprofit organization. Its mission is to expand access to the legal system — in the area of business law — too many who otherwise would be left out.
