LegalCORPS - Brief Free Legal Advice

LegalCORPS provides free assistance in non-litigation business law matters to low-income owners of small businesses, small nonprofit organizations and low-income innovators in Minnesota — through the services of volunteer attorneys.

LegalCORPS provides up to 30 minutes of free advice on matters of business law for small businesses and not-for-profits provided by experienced business lawyers.

Every Tuesday from  3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, volunteer LegalCORPS attorneys are available at the Associated Bank Building at 202 North Snelling Avenue (see map below) to provide up to 30 minutes of free legal advice on non-litigation business matters.  Small business persons are seen on a first-come first-served basis.  Registration usually begins about 2:30 PM.

The first Tuesday of each month there is an IP attorney at the clinic to advise on all aspects of Intellectual property law; copyrights, trademarks, patents and trade secrets.

Parking is available on the east side of the bank’s parking lot,  east of the building (off Dayton) and along the east side of Snelling Avenue in front of the bank (one hour limit).
